The Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Oak Ridge, TN, with pay of $15–$18 per hour. The posting describes a part-time schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. First Steps Child Development Center provides early childhood education and care for children from six weeks through age five. The teacher supervises young children and implements developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities. Collaboration with classroom teachers and completion of required training support a safe, organized learning environment.

What you'll do

• Oversee care and supervision of young children in accordance with DHS rules
• implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
• engage children in learning activities
• collaborate with classroom teachers to maintain an organized environment
• attend staff meetings and required training
• maintain CPR and First Aid certification for all ages.
