What you'll do

• Lead and manage the welding and fabrication team
• plan and prioritize shop production
• hold employees accountable for quality, productivity, and safety
• train and develop welders and fabricators
• read and create fabrication drawings
• use SolidWorks and CNC equipment
• estimate materials, labor, and production time
• price custom projects
• manage steel and shop materials
• monitor costs and material usage
• improve jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing processes
• coordinate with sales and management on schedules and customer projects
• help develop and improve products.
