Male Personal Care Assistant

Job overview

The Male Personal Care Assistant role provides onsite, in-home care in the Eagan, Hastings, and Farmington, MN areas; the listing location is Saint Paul, MN. Compensation is $20–$30 per hour, depending on shift length and assignment. SYNERGY HomeCare provides non-medical support in clients’ homes, and male caregivers are sought for assignments where a male caregiver is needed for client privacy, dignity, or personal-care needs. The role exists to help clients with daily personal care, mobility, meals, and companionship while supporting a safe and respectful home environment. The assistant communicates with clients, families, and the care team and reports changes in client condition or needs.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• provide mobility and transfer assistance when needed
• assist with meal preparation and feeding
• provide light housekeeping and medication reminders
• offer companionship and emotional support
• communicate with clients, families, and the care team
• observe and report changes in client condition or needs
• maintain a safe and respectful environment.
