What you'll do

• Inspect, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• address safety and waste-management issues
• perform basic painting, drywall, carpentry, and fixture work
• log work orders
• communicate with residents about maintenance
• coordinate contractors and facility improvements
• maintain exterior areas and common amenities
• prepare apartments for move-ins
• inspect lighting and fire-safety systems
• maintain equipment and supply inventory
• follow OSHA, hazardous-chemical, confidentiality, and agency reporting requirements
• coordinate availability of on-call personnel for emergencies.
