The role builds products across Envita business units and works directly with stakeholders, including clinicians, pharmacy and laboratory operators, business leaders, and executives. The engineer takes business problems from requirements clarification through full-stack development, integration, testing, deployment, and production support. The role contributes across TypeScript front-end and Python back-end work, using APIs, AWS, and practical AI integrations while maintaining security, reliability, documentation, and project continuity as priorities change.

What you'll do

• Build and support applications across front-end and back-end development
• develop Python services, APIs, data workflows, integrations, and business logic
• build TypeScript interfaces
• clarify requirements with non-technical stakeholders
• manage concurrent projects and reprioritize while documenting paused work
• integrate internal, third-party, and AI-provider APIs
• own AWS deployment, security fundamentals, observability, secrets, access controls, and cost discipline
• use AI tools while validating and understanding generated output
• debug unfamiliar code, create tests, and communicate status, risks, and trade-offs.
