Senior Tax Associate

Job overview

The Senior Tax Associate role is hybrid in Bismarck, ND, with two to three days in the office. Salary is $100,000–$120,000 per year. The opportunity offers client ownership and work with Managers and Partners across varied client situations. The associate handles complex tax compliance, research, planning, and consulting while building client relationships and taking ownership of engagements. The role also reviews work and guides developing staff, contributing to client service and the team’s development of future tax leaders.

What you'll do

• Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and other entities
• work across compliance, research, planning, consulting, and special projects
• research complex tax issues and develop practical client recommendations
• work directly with clients throughout the year
• manage engagement workflow, deadlines, deliverables, and client expectations
• collaborate with Managers and Partners
• review work and provide technical guidance to Associates and developing staff
• build leadership and delegation skills.
