Water and Mold Mitigation Restoration Technician

Job overview

The Water and Mold Mitigation Restoration Technician role is field-based at residential and commercial job sites in Winston-Salem, NC, and surrounding areas; compensation is $16 to $20 per hour. The work supports cleanup and restoration of properties affected by water, mold, fire, smoke, and other disasters. The technician helps restoration crews return damaged properties to usable condition through extraction, remediation, demolition, cleaning, and equipment operation. The role travels between job sites, follows safety procedures, and maintains clean and organized work areas.

What you'll do

• Perform water extraction, flood cleanup, and water damage mitigation
• assist with mold containment and remediation
• remove damaged building materials and debris
• clean and sanitize affected properties
• set up, operate, and move drying and extraction equipment
• use hand and power tools safely
• move furniture and materials
• use required personal protective equipment
• travel between job sites and maintain safe, organized work areas.
