Job overview

The Cook role is onsite in Elkhart, IN. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour. At OPS Living, the dietary team prepares meals that support seniors’ comfort, community, and quality of life.

What you'll do

• Prepare meals according to approved menus, standardized recipes, resident dietary requirements, portion guidelines, and production schedules
• assist with meal service and approved substitutions
• follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-prevention standards
• label, date, store, and rotate food using FIFO principles
• complete temperature logs and sanitation documentation
• maintain a clean kitchen
• and collaborate with the Dietary Manager and dietary team. Dishwashing, kitchen cleanup, and other food-preparation support may be needed.

Why this role
