What you'll do
- Monitors and interprets patient heart rhythms and vital signs as well as following set algorithm parameters that may raise alarms.
- Ability to interpret alarms and follow through with appropriate communication as needed.
- Depending on location, may also be providing continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
- Summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.
