What you'll do

• Assist in planning and overseeing public works operations, including streets, utilities, parks, facilities, and fleet services
• help direct infrastructure and capital projects
• supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate assigned personnel
• assist with budgets, expenditures, and purchasing
• manage assigned construction and maintenance projects and coordinate contractors
• collaborate with city departments, elected officials, stakeholders, and the public
• assist with emergency response
• represent the Public Works Director and serve as Acting Director when needed.
