Community Engagement Educator

Job overview

The Community Engagement Educator role is onsite in Preston, Idaho, engaging communities across Franklin and Bear Lake Counties. Pay is $20–$22.50 per hour. CAPSA provides confidential support to people affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse and works on prevention with youth and communities. The educator delivers prevention education, builds local partnerships, and supports youth leadership and community awareness initiatives. The role helps strengthen CAPSA’s community presence and contribute to safer, healthier communities.

What you'll do

• Deliver prevention education, presentations, and trainings to youth, adults, businesses, schools, and community groups
• represent CAPSA at events and civic or coalition meetings
• build relationships with local partners
• coordinate outreach and awareness activities
• help establish and support a CAPSA Youth Council
• support the Idaho Advisory Board and development activities
• manage event and training logistics
• track participation, hours, and outcomes.
