Yard Specialist — Nights

The Yard Specialist role is onsite in Alachua, FL, with a Sunday–Wednesday schedule from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. Compensation is $19.50–$22.50 per hour. G&C Foods redistributes refrigerated, frozen, and dry food products and supports the food supply chain. The specialist manages the placement, inspection, and general upkeep of trucks and trailers in the facility yard. Daily equipment checks, transport to maintenance garages, and dispatch-board updates help support transportation operations and product movement.

What you'll do

• Perform daily yard equipment inventory at the start of each shift
• transport equipment to and from maintenance garages as needed
• update the Operations dispatch board
• clean trailers internally before product loading
• change DEF as needed
• empty the garbage bin near the fuel station as needed
• perform other functions as directed by Transportation Management.
