Medical Director – Hospice

What you'll do

• Provide overall medical direction for the hospice program
• review policies and procedures
• support quality and education activities
• consult with attending physicians on pain and symptom management
• participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• review and update plans of care
• document care
• certify and recertify terminal illness
• approve plans of care when required
• provide physician services to meet patients’ general medical needs.
