Data Analytics Specialist

The Data Analytics Specialist role is onsite in Idaho Falls, ID, with compensation of $75,000–$100,000 per year. The position supports the Acceptable Knowledge Organization and Contact Handled Transuranic Waste Programs. The role uses SQL to extract and analyze data, alongside data cleanup, container qualification evaluation, regulatory documentation, and support for annual WIPP audits. This work helps maintain program data and documentation and supports waste qualification and audit activities.

What you'll do

• Write and run SQL queries against production, historical, and document databases
• evaluate waste containers for treatment processes and waste streams
• clean and format data in Excel and Access
• document facility, process, waste-characteristic, and regulatory information
• support WIPP audits, reporting, and training
• interpret WIPP WAC, WAP, RCRA, and TSCA requirements
• coordinate with DOE Idaho, CBFO, and other departments
• initiate nonconformance reports and resolve AK issues.
