Job overview

The Boat Sales Professional role is onsite in Bridgton, ME. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Mondays required in season. Compensation is minimum wage plus commission based on the retail sales price of the unit. Long Lake Marina serves customers in Maine’s Sebago Lakes Region with sales, storage, rigging, and service support. The sales professional welcomes customers, learns how they plan to use a boat, and guides them toward suitable options. The role builds customer relationships through product guidance, follow-up, and coordination with management, finance and insurance, rigging, and service teams; travel to several trade shows and training events a year, including overnight travel, is required.

What you'll do

• Welcome customers and explain boat features and options
• guide customers through the sales process
• document interactions and follow-up in Salesforce CRM
• develop product knowledge
• coordinate with management, finance and insurance, rigging, and service departments
• travel to industry training and trade shows and assist with event setup as needed
• participate in marketing videos and commercials.
