The Laboratory Helper role is onsite in West Jefferson, OH, with compensation of $33,800–$45,600 per year. The position supports Battelle’s Biomedical Research Center Biological and Chemical Surety laboratories. The role provides non-technical support for laboratory task work and maintenance, helping keep facilities and equipment maintained for BSL-2/BSL-3 activities and in accordance with applicable requirements.

• Handle laundry and waste processing
• order reagents, supplies, and equipment
• maintain equipment logbooks and records
• follow workplace SOPs and safety practices
• coordinate with suppliers on maintenance contracts and quotes
• respond appropriately to alarms and potential emergencies
• support daily and training schedule planning.
