Controls Technician

What you'll do

• Design, specify components for, assemble, install, test, and maintain automation and control systems
• troubleshoot and repair systems
• connect wires to electrical components
• inspect and test electrical systems and equipment for hazards, defects, and needed repairs
• ensure systems meet applicable safety standards
• navigate PLC programs and communication protocols
• train and mentor maintenance team members
• use hand and power tools to service manufacturing equipment
• operate work vehicles such as forklifts and lifts
• manage projects and coordinate with suppliers for parts.
