Access Control Officer – Army Facilities

Compensation is $0 per year. The Access Control Officer role is onsite in Charlottesville, VA, supporting access control and escort services at HQ INSCOM and Major Subordinate Command facilities. STI-TEC provides professional business and information management services to government and commercial clients. The role helps protect secure facilities by verifying people, equipment, and media entering or leaving, deterring unauthorized access or removal, and documenting security activity in accordance with government and local procedures.

What you'll do

• Control access for personnel, equipment, and media
• conduct face-to-face identification and badge checks
• verify visitor clearances and issue escort-required badges
• inspect entry and exit items and authorization forms
• use government security systems and databases, including Central Monitoring Stations
• maintain shift logs, visitor sign-in sheets, journals, and equipment inventories
• promptly notify appropriate emergency responders of life-threatening situations.
