The Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician role is onsite in Bastrop, TX, serving the Austin and Central Texas area. Pay is $35–$40 per hour, depending on experience. The ProHunters is recruiting for an established commercial refrigeration company serving the region. The technician independently diagnoses, repairs, installs, and maintains commercial refrigeration equipment at restaurants, commercial kitchens, arenas, and other facilities. The work supports reliable equipment operation through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and customer communication.

What you'll do

• Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems
• service coolers, freezers, ice machines, refrigerated cases, and beverage systems
• perform refrigerant recovery, leak detection, brazing, evacuation, and charging
• troubleshoot electrical systems and controls
• complete preventive maintenance
• document service work
• communicate with customers and dispatch
• maintain vehicle, tools, and parts
• follow safety procedures
• participate in rotating weekend on-call.
