Calibration Technician, Houston

What you'll do

• Maintain, repair, and calibrate physical/dimensional and basic electronics test measurement and diagnostic equipment and laboratory standards
• capture readings using instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• work under close supervision and seek technical guidance as needed
• develop knowledge of pressure principles and assigned calibration techniques
• learn to review standards and specifications and develop calibration templates and procedures for approval
• provide professional customer service
• learn and follow the ISO 17025 quality system
• communicate with coworkers, clients, and management
• clean and maintain laboratory equipment and the lab
• travel up to 50% or more.
