What you'll do

• Write, review, and refine technical specification sections
• coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and civil engineers
• identify gaps in design standards and develop new standards
• research products and materials against durability, cost, sustainability, and code requirements
• create quality-control checklists and review tools
• maintain the MasterSpec/SpecLink database
• incorporate field lessons into specifications.
