What you'll do

• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments
• greet and prepare patients
• record vital signs, histories, and chief complaints
• provide patient education
• prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians
• perform phlebotomy and basic lab tests
• after required training, may perform EKGs
• assist with X-ray and physician therapy procedures
• prepare and administer medications with physician authorization
• maintain records, logs, room flow, and procedure setup
• scribe as assigned.
