What you'll do

• Work with the clinical care team and communicate with patients, caregivers, and providers
• prepare charts and address care gaps
• set up equipment and perform applicable tests, injections, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
• obtain medical histories and vital signs
• process blood draws and specimens
• prepare patients and rooms
• follow physician orders and approved refill directions
• communicate test results as directed
• assist with patient education and paperwork
• respond to patient calls
• maintain cleanliness and confidentiality.
