Spray Booth Operator

Job overview

The Spray Booth Operator works onsite in Hugo, MN, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. Compensation is $23 per hour, determined by experience. Schwieters Companies specializes in millwork, doors, cabinets, and hardware, providing interior-finish procurement, prefabrication, delivery, and installation. The operator prepares materials and applies coatings to products, monitoring finish quality and spray booth performance. The role supports production quality and safety by following product specifications, inspecting finished surfaces, maintaining equipment, and handling coating materials and PPE properly.

What you'll do

• Set up, adjust, and operate spray guns to product specifications
• clean, sand, and prepare surfaces
• select, measure, and mix paints, solvents, and coatings
• monitor coating distribution, thickness, and adhesion
• inspect finished products and correct defects
• clean spray equipment and booth daily
• follow chemical-handling and PPE safety requirements.
