Job overview
The Telecommunications Engineering Technician is an onsite role based in Denver, CO, with an annual salary range of $59,150 to $106,925. This position supports the National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program for the FAA. The role is responsible for supporting the Brand-New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) by reviewing infrastructure, conducting site surveys, and drafting technical reports. The technician will coordinate with vendors and operations personnel to ensure the successful transition and maintenance of telecommunications networks.
What you'll do
- Review FAA databases and draft Site Survey Reports (SSR).
- Conduct site surveys.
- Coordinate schedules with SSC, ES, and vendors.
- Draft Project Risk Plans (PRP) and Operational Risk Management Plans (ORMP).
- Generate and update drawings and artifacts.
- Support transition planning and outage coordination.
