Associate Residential Interior Designer

The Associate Residential Interior Designer position is onsite in Seattle, WA, in the Laurelhurst area. Compensation is $31 to $38 per hour. The role supports Innovative Home Renovations, a residential design-build remodeling firm serving Northeast Seattle homeowners. Working with experienced designers and project partners, the associate helps translate client needs into design concepts, selections, presentations, and documentation. The role contributes to a coordinated remodeling process by helping carry design intent through planning and construction while developing professional skills with mentorship.

What you'll do

• Participate in client meetings, site visits, presentations, and showroom visits
• take organized notes
• research existing conditions and design opportunities
• assist with concepts, palettes, selections, plans, and specifications
• maintain project records
• coordinate with the drafter and design team
• prepare client meeting materials
• track open questions and follow-up
• participate in project meetings and site walkthroughs.
