Commercial HVAC Installer / Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job overview

The Commercial HVAC Installer / Sheet Metal Mechanic role is onsite in Cullman, AL, with travel to projects in Alabama and surrounding areas, up to 50% and sometimes for week-long assignments. Pay is $25–$32+ per hour based on experience. Cool Temp Services handles residential and commercial HVAC installation projects. The installer fabricates and installs duct systems and HVAC equipment, helping complete projects safely, accurately, and on schedule. The role coordinates materials and installation work with supervisors and other trades, with opportunities to grow into crew leadership.

What you'll do

• Read mechanical blueprints and lay out commercial ductwork
• fabricate, assemble, and install custom sheet metal duct systems
• install rooftop HVAC equipment and related components
• perform rough-in and finish work
• coordinate materials, labor, and schedules
• maintain a safe and organized job site
• resolve field issues with supervisors and other trades
• travel to out-of-area projects
• support residential installations as needed.
