Job overview
The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in the St. Louis area, working in one of the organization’s group homes; schedules vary by home. Pay is $22 per hour. The role assists adult residents with daily living skills and supports independence, safety, and social and emotional well-being. What you'll do
- Assist four to six adult residents with hygiene, meal preparation, dressing, and maintaining a clean environment
- provide safety oversight according to agency policy and individual support plans
- support social and emotional well-being through outings and activities
- collaborate with nursing staff to implement nursing plans
- understand and implement individual plans
- transport residents to activities and appointments
- complete documentation within agency and funding deadlines.
