Extrusion Furnace Operator

What you'll do

• Set up dies according to schedule
• operate an overhead crane to move and gather dies
• check tool stack sizes
• prepare dies for the ready area
• assist the press operator with changes and setups
• occasionally pull samples for conformity checks
• run the press during operator breaks
• break down dies and place them in the caustic area for cleaning and repair
• follow safety procedures
• maintain attendance and clean the work area.
