Behavioral Interventionist (BI)

The Behavioral Interventionist (BI) role is onsite in Newark, NJ, and pays $25–$30 per hour. Connect ABA + Therapy provides ABA services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities. Working one-on-one under BCBA guidance, the interventionist implements behavior plans, teaches functional skills, collects progress data, and collaborates with families and the interdisciplinary team to support client goals.

What you'll do

• Implement BCBA-developed behavior intervention plans
• provide one-on-one instruction using ABA techniques
• collect client progress and behavior data
• support communication, socialization, self-care, and independent-living skills
• collaborate with the BCBA and team
• communicate progress with families and caregivers
• participate in training.
