The part-time Direct Support Professional role supports an individual living independently in Newtown Square, PA. The listed shift options are Monday and Wednesday, 12:30–4:30 p.m. Pay starts at $17 per hour. Access Services supports adults with developmental disabilities and autism to live in home settings and maintain or increase independence. The DSP provides individualized support in a home or community setting, follows the person’s plan of care, documents case notes, and uses approved interventions. Paid training is provided, and no experience is necessary.

What you'll do

• Provide support through activities and community engagement
• follow the individual’s plan of care and approved interventions
• provide emotional support, positive reinforcement, and safe crisis management
• maintain case notes
• participate in supervision, training, and professional development
• assist with daily living and personal care as needed.
