The Lifeguard position is part-time and onsite in Muskegon, MI, paying $14–$17 per hour. The Boys and Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore provides aquatic programming for youth and adults. The lifeguard supervises aquatic program spaces and helps ensure a safe, clean, and inclusive environment. Through safety monitoring, emergency response, recordkeeping, and support for program activities, the role helps members and guests participate safely.

What you'll do

• Supervise aquatic program spaces and enforce policies and procedures
• perform first aid and emergency rescues as necessary
• maintain daily-use, incident, inventory, and client-feedback records
• monitor water quality and conduct safety inspections
• support member safety and development
• help establish program goals with the Aquatics Director
• participate in program evaluation, meetings, and training
• provide timely activity and participation reports.
