The Lead Foreman, Solar & Energy Storage role is onsite in Sacramento, CA, with pay of $29–$40 per hour. The position supports Solarado Roofing & Solar’s residential and commercial solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage installations. The foreman leads installation crews while performing hands-on work to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and in compliance with plans, electrical codes, and company standards. The role coordinates project execution, quality, safety, commissioning, and field documentation.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise solar and battery installation crews
• interpret plans, permits, and electrical schematics
• oversee battery wiring, inverter setup, shutdown switches, and communication cabling
• ensure compliance with NEC, CEC, and local codes
• maintain quality control, safety protocols, and jobsite cleanliness
• coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors
• conduct walkthroughs, system testing, and commissioning
• train and mentor apprentices and junior installers
• document progress, change orders, and material needs.
