Laboratory Associate — Sample Processing

The Laboratory Associate is an onsite role in Elmhurst, IL, paying $22–$22.50 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday and Friday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; Thursday and Sunday are off. The work involves processing samples in a laboratory. The associate supports laboratory workflows by receiving, preparing, moving, and loading samples for analysis. What you'll do

• Check in couriers
• unbag and barcode samples
• move samples around the lab
• load samples into analyzers and centrifuges
• swirl samples with liquid chemical
• retrieve samples from refrigerated storage
• follow safety rules and standard operating procedures
• prioritize and multitask
• enter data
• work independently and as part of a team
• may transport hazardous waste and may occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
