What you'll do
- Administer Oracle and SQL Server database environments
- monitor and optimize performance and availability
- design and maintain database architectures
- manage security, access controls, encryption, and auditing
- develop and test backup and disaster recovery strategies
- plan upgrades and migrations
- conduct capacity planning
- mentor junior administrators
- and provide advanced incident support. Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 coverage when required
- occasional domestic and international travel may be required.
