Under supervision, the CNA provides basic nursing assistance and helps residents with daily living activities, including personal care, feeding, mobility, and monitoring and recording vital signs and intake and output.

What you'll do

• Answer resident signal lights and bells
• assist with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care, and incontinence care
• obtain food trays and assist with feeding
• assist with range-of-motion exercises, transfers, turning, positioning, and short-distance ambulation
• take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and food and fluid intake and output as directed
• perform other assigned tasks.
