Registered Nurse (RN), Wound Care, Weekends is an onsite, part-time role in Maitland, FL. Pay is $35–$43 per hour. The Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking a nurse to support resident healing, prevent complications, and improve quality of life. The nurse assesses and treats wounds, monitors healing, and adjusts individualized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. The role also includes resident, family, and staff education and accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do

• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized wound care plans
• treat pressure injuries, surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, burns, traumatic wounds, ostomies, and other skin conditions
• conduct skin assessments and identify breakdown risks
• administer treatments according to physician orders and evidence-based practices
• monitor healing and adjust plans
• collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy, dietary, and other team members
• educate residents, families, and staff
• evaluate nutrition and pressure-relieving devices
• document assessments, treatments, and progress
• follow wound-care and infection-prevention requirements.

Why this role
