The Procurement Specialist — Entry Clerk role is onsite in Ocala, FL, on a 9/80 schedule: Monday through Thursday are nine-hour days, with one Friday at eight hours and the other Friday off. Pay is $16.47–$22 per hour. Veterans Trading Company is a service-disabled veteran-owned company focused on supply chain solutions for customers. The role supports quoting, procurement, planning, and kitting of test equipment. It sources and purchases items, coordinates delivery, supports supplier evaluation and negotiations, and maintains accurate transaction records in accordance with organizational requirements.

What you'll do

• Learn procurement policies, procedures, and systems
• source and purchase items
• coordinate delivery and pricing with Finance
• assist in identifying and evaluating suppliers
• develop procurement plans
• support supplier negotiations on pricing and turnaround
• ensure compliance with laws, policies, contracts, and statements of work
• maintain transaction records
• and assist with procurement performance metrics.
