Extrusion Operator

Job overview

The Extrusion Operator role is onsite in Fremont, OH. The posting states pay of $24 per hour. The operator reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and supports production of quality products through the extrusion process. The operator sets up, runs, and monitors extrusion equipment from raw material input through inspection and packing. The role contributes to production quality and efficiency by adjusting processes, completing quality checks, recording production data, and maintaining a safe, orderly work area.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate extrusion machines and auxiliary equipment
• monitor controls and components
• record production, material, downtime, work order, and inventory data in company systems
• maintain housekeeping and safety
• assist with training new operators
• make process adjustments to meet production standards
• report issues and submit maintenance work orders
• perform changeovers and setups
• inspect finished products and complete quality checks and functional tests
• participate in line trials and continuous improvement as needed.
