What you'll do

• Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles.
• Perform testing to evaluate resident status and provide necessary care.
• Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively in emergent situations.
• Ensure resident health, comfort, and safety.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Counsel residents and families on treatment plans.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.

Experience

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program. Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license.
