The Splicer I Fiber is an onsite role based in Tucson, AZ. Compensation is $24–$26 per hour, supporting the Fiber Splicing team in constructing telecommunications infrastructure. This role is responsible for performing fiber splicing duties as part of the construction of telecommunications outside plant to ensure the scope of work performed is within standards required by the customer.

What you'll do

• Splice overhead, underground or submarine multiple conductor cables
• Climb utility poles or towers
• Utilize truck mounted lift-bucket
• Descend into underground vaults
• Cut sheath from installed cable
• Test conductors to identify corresponding conductors
• Read and interpret drawings, maps, and blueprints.
