Field Service and Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Field Service and Maintenance Technician is based onsite at AMECO’s Harrison, OH facility and works in the shop and at customer sites. Pay is $25–$30 per hour. AMECO supplies construction site services, equipment, tools, and rental fleet support. The technician inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains equipment to support reliable rental fleet operations and customer projects. The role combines hands-on shop and field repairs with customer communication, service documentation, and adherence to safety and company procedures.

What you'll do

• Perform major and non-routine repairs on customer and company equipment in the shop and field
• complete work orders, parts orders, billing, and warranty paperwork as applicable
• assist other technicians with troubleshooting
• communicate with customers about repairs and service needs
• maintain an orderly work area and service truck
• follow policies and health, safety, and environmental procedures
• plan and carry out assignments.
