Communications Specialist / Dispatcher

What you'll do

• Respond to calls, radio traffic, emails, and other communications
• process service requests using established protocols
• enter requests into the computer-aided dispatch system
• review, schedule, prioritize, and assign transportation requests
• allocate available resources
• document trip details and special instructions
• monitor field-unit locations and response times
• communicate delays and operational messages
• assist with routing
• maintain accurate shift documentation and protect confidential information.
