What you'll do

• Prepare and stock trucks with tools and materials
• prepare equipment and worksites
• anticipate crew needs and hand tools and equipment to linemen
• verify truck grounding
• control traffic near work zones
• dig and backfill trenches
• load, unload, and distribute materials
• clean, lubricate, or repair tools and machinery
• assist with maintenance
• operate forklifts, hand tools, power tools, and company vehicles
• assist linemen with framing poles
• maintain clean work areas.
