The role helps ensure reliable, scalable service delivery by preparing accurate network designs and quotes, coordinating customer implementations, and resolving technical questions. It works across network operations, outside plant design, service delivery, customers, contractors, and vendors to keep projects accurate and on track.
What you'll do
- Design, review, and support customer voice, data, and fiber network solutions using GIS, plant records, service orders, and design tools
- prepare network drawings, fiber quotes, component pricing, hardware recommendations, and plant data assignments
- review service and work orders for location, plant availability, fiber path, strand assignment, and installation readiness
- coordinate orders, installations, cutovers, and project activities
- troubleshoot fiber, GIS, mapping, plant data, and strand assignment issues
- provide technical support and escalation assistance
- train and support employees on GIS and fiber design processes
- maintain design and project documentation
- manage multiple design projects and implementation tasks.
