What you'll do

• Assist the Director of Nurses with personnel, orientation, supervision, and staffing
• check resident records and reports
• review physician orders and admission and transfer information
• assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
• conduct weekly skin assessment rounds with the Treatment Nurse
• prepare monthly licensed-nurse schedules
• review and update resident plans of care
• monitor infection-control practices and nursing rounds
• review assessments and documentation
• participate in committee meetings and staff training
• assist with investigations of unusual occurrences or alleged abuse and notify the Director of Nurses.
