Patient Service Representative

What you'll do

• Greet patients and check them in and out
• answer incoming calls
• schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments
• respond to questions about appointments, locations, and practice information
• route calls and messages
• make outbound scheduling and follow-up calls
• verify and update demographic and insurance information
• collect copayments and balances
• assist with referrals
• document calls in the electronic medical record
• maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
