Responsibilities include frequent assessment and monitoring, managing respiratory and cardiac support and medication infusions, assisting with bedside procedures, and supporting or leading pediatric codes using the PALS algorithm.

What you'll do

• Manage care for complex, high-acuity pediatric patients
• perform at least hourly assessments and monitoring
• provide developmentally and culturally appropriate care
• manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, oscillators, cardiac rhythms, continuous vital-sign trends, and vasoactive, sedation, and insulin drips. Run and analyze bedside point-of-care tests, assist with bedside procedures, support or lead pediatric codes using PALS, and perform sterile dressing changes. Requires at least five years of direct patient-care nursing experience, RN licensure, and BLS and PALS credentials.
