The Plant Maintenance Mechanic role is onsite in Fort Wayne, IN, with pay of $24 per hour plus a stated $0.75-per-hour shift differential. The schedule is second shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM. The mechanic supports Meridian Adhesives Group’s production machinery, utilities, and facility systems. The role maintains and repairs equipment to support safe, efficient plant operations. By responding to line interruptions, addressing root causes, and recording work in the maintenance system, the mechanic contributes to equipment reliability and continuous production.

What you'll do

• Maintain and repair production machinery, utilities, and facility systems
• troubleshoot motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, mixers, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance
• fabricate, assemble, and install components
• respond to line interruptions and address root causes
• document work in MaintainX
• follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
