The Teacher Aide 1 role is onsite in Immokalee, FL. Compensation is $15–$19.50 per hour. The role supports RCMA Immokalee Community Academy, a dual-language K–8 charter school serving children of Florida farmworkers and agricultural migrants. Working under the Charter Academy Principal and alongside teachers, the aide helps implement the school’s educational program and supports students’ academic, social, emotional, and physical development. The role also helps maintain a safe classroom environment and communicates with families about student progress.

What you'll do

• Safeguard students’ health and safety
• collaborate with teachers to support instruction across language, literacy, math, social studies, science, arts, and physical development
• help students develop age- and ability-appropriate skills
• communicate student progress with parents
• support classroom routines and behavior standards during after-school time
• maintain required weekly and monthly documentation
• support parent meetings and collaborate with the team.
